KCR condoles demise of Prof. Srirama Hyderabad, June 24 (INN): Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao has expressed his condolences on the death of Mahamahopadhyaya Professor Pullella Srirama Chandrudu, an Indian scholar and writer of Sanskrit and Telugu literature who passed away this evening in Hyderabad.
The Chief Minister said that late Pullella Srirama Chandrudu was credited with several books in Sanskrit and Telugu and is best known for the translation of Valmiki Ramayana with word to word meaning and commentary in Telugu which runs into over 10,000 pages.CM recalled that Pullela Srirama Chandrudu served Sanskrit Academy for over a decade and worked for the growth of the Department of Sanskrit of Osmania University from where he obtained a Ph.D. in Sanskrit and served for 27 years.
