6 missing fishermen from Vizag traced to Bangladesh Hyderabad, June 27 (INN): Amid bad weather in the last few days, one of the 44 missing boats from Kakinada has been traced to Kaukata Beach of Barisala Division of Patuakhali District of Bangladesh.
Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has spoken to AP Bhavan Resident Commissioner in New Delhi who has written to the Indian High Commission in Dhaka.
The Resident Commission, on behalf of the Chief Minister has told the High Commission that the state government seeks the support of the High Commission which can coordinate sending the fishermen back to Visakhapatnam via Kolkata or through any other suitable destination.
