Digvijay demands CBI probe into 'Cash for Vote Hyderabad, June 28 (INN): AICC General Secretary Digvijay Singh on Sunday demanded CBI probe into the 'Cash for Vote' case.
Addressing a press conference at Gandhi Bhavan here, Digviya Singh said that the 'Cash for Vote' scam was a major case of political corruption and Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself should take a serious note of the same. He announced that the AICC and TPCC would file a PIL in the High Court seeking CBI probe.
Digvijay Singh alleged that Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has been demanding imposition of Section 8 of AP Reorganisation Act only to escape action in the 'Cash for Vote' scam. He also condemned Telangana CM K Chandrashekar Rao for criticising the Section 8 and said he was aware of the complete Act and he why did not raise any objection on it.
