JBIC expresses positive sentiment about AP's growth Hyderabad, July 6 (INN): In a meeting with executive managing director of Japan Bank of International Cooperation (JBIC) Koichi Yajima, Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu was informed that JBIC conducts a survey of investor sentiment every year. 'Last survey was done in November last year. Our survey showed that investor sentiment was rising in favour of India,' Yajima said.
The JBIC executive MD also told that he's aware of the advantages of Andhra Pradesh that has a long coastline. 'We have abundant water, power and minerals. There are opportunities aplenty in the ports sector, in capital city. We seek your cooperation in encouraging Japanese investors to come to Andhra Pradesh.
Meanwhile, JBIC said that SoftBank s preparing to invest in slow power in Andhra Pradesh. SoftBank has sought our cooperation for support, said JBIC's Yajima, adding that Sumitomo is exploring cooperation from JBIC for Srikakulam power project.
