Babu Jagjivan Ram remembered at UoH
Hyderabad, July 6 (INN): The employees of the University of Hyderabad (UoH) paid homage to Babu Jagjivan Ram on his death anniversary on 6th July, 2015 in the administrative building.
Babu Jagjivan Ram, known popularly as Babuji has worked hard to bring about equality in India. He was an able Parliamentarian who championed the cause of the poor and the downtrodden in the country until he breathed his last. 'He was widely admired for his leadership qualities and organizational abilities, and always remained a force to be reckoned with in Indian politics.
Vice-Chancellor Prof. R P Sharma, ; Registrar M Sudhakar, other officials, faculty and staff participated and also observed a minutes silence in the memory of Babuji.
