PM to inaugurate international labour's conference Hyderabad, July 7 (INN): Union Labour Minister Bandaru Dattatraya on Tuesday informed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi would inaugurate a three-day international conference on labour at New Delhi on July 20.
Speaking to media persons at Dilkusha Guest House here, Dattatraya said that the Prime Minister would also unveil the logo of National Labour Council. During the conference, he said discussions would be held on reforms and required amendments in labour laws. The conference will also hold deliberations on implementation of minimum wages and review the implementation of labour laws by State Governments.
Dattatraya said that the Centre would come up with a new labour policy, if required. He said labour ministers of all States, representatives of trade unions and experts in related subject would participate in the conference.
