Ponnam alleges corruption in Pushkarams works
Hyderabad, July 9 (INN): Congress senior leader and former MP Ponnam Prabhakar on Thursday alleged that large-scale corruption was taking place in the execution of works pertaining to Godavari Pushkarams.
Speaking to media persons at Gandhi Bhavan here, Ponnam said there was no transparency in tenders of Godavari Pushkarams works and most of the works were being assigned on nomination basis. He said several senior officials and politicians were involved in the irregularities. He demanded that the all works should be monitored by involving media and NGOs.
