TPCC panel forms subject-wise Sub-Committees
Hyderabad, July 11 (INN): The Committee, constituted by the Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee to study the failures of TRS Government, has decided to constitute different Sub-Committees on 16-17 subjects.
Speaking to media persons at Gandhi Bhavan, Committee chairman and former Speaker KR Suresh Reddy said that the Telangana State was being deprived of several benefits due to the non-implementation of Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Act. He said it has been decided to constitute subject-wise committees for an in-depth view of all the issues. He said that the sub-committees would submit their reports by July 25 and the same would be sent to Congress High Command for further action.
Suresh Reddy announced that two Sub-Committees have already been constituted. The Committee on GHMC will be headed by MLC MS Prabhakar and will have Rajya Sabha MP MA Khan and former MLA Srisailam Goud as its members. The Research Committee will be headed by TPCC Chief Spokesperson Dr. Sravan Kumar and MLA A Sampath Kumar will be its member.
The Congress leader alleged that except for creating confusion among people, the TRS Government did nothing for the development of Telangana. He hoped that the TPCC's exercise would help in exposing the failures of TRS Government.
