ISRO website hacked The website of Antrix, Indian Space Research Organisation's commercial arm, was hacked on Sunday by hackers.The home page of the website was hacked and it leading to a Chinese merchandise. Officials quickly reacted on the incident and restored the home page by evening.
The 'hacking' comes two days after ISRO successfully launched five British commercial satellites onboard PSLV-C28 from Sriharikota in its heaviest commercial mission.Although it was alleged that Chinese hackers were behind defacing the website, however, officials didn't confirm the information.
Antrix is ISRO's marketing arm for promotion and commercialization of space products, technical consultancy services and transfer of technologies developed by ISRO.It provides space products and services to international customers worldwide.
