CM congratulates Sania
Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao on Sunday congratulated the Tennis Ace Sania Mirza for winning Wimbledon doubles along with Martina Hingis.
"Sania Mirza has been making rapid strides in her chosen domain at the international level. He victory is ideal for those others in the respective fields and inspirational to other girls from Telangana State," KCR said in his press release and exhorted the youth to emulate Sania Mirza, the present brand Ambassador of Telangana State.
Sania-Hingis pair beat Russian second seeds Ekaterina Makarova and Elena Vesnina 5-7, 7-6(4), 7-5 in the final late on Saturday night.
