TRS challenges TDP for debate Hyderabad, July 13 (INN): Telangana Industries Minister Jupally Krishna Rao on Monday challenged TDP leaders for a debate on development in Mahabubnagar district.
Speaking to media persons along with Health Minister Dr. C Lakshma Reddy and MLA Srinivas Goud at the TRS Legislature Party office here, Jupally alleged that during its regime, TDP did not spent even Rs. 10 crore for development of irrigation in Mahabubnagar district. He said despite adopting the district, Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu neglected Mahabubnagar. Despite bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh and formation of Telangana State, Naidu has been conspiring to stop development in Mahabubnagar and the letter written to the Central Water Commission was part of such conspiracy.
The TRS leaders said they were ready for an open debate on the issue and challenged TDP leaders to fix a place and time for the same.
