Post-Matric Scholarships registration date extended
Hyderabad, July 13 (INN): The Director of BC Welfare has informed that the Government has extended the last date for registration of Post Matric Scholarships until 15th July.
He informed that no further date will be given after the above date as the new academic year 2015-16 has already commenced. He has requested all the students who are renewing their scholarships must visit the e-PASS website at http://epas.cgg.gov.in. Further, he informed that the Government have accorded permission for sanction of Post Matric Scholarships and Fee Reimbursement to (26) BC Communities and (01) synonym (Settibailja) students who have been omitted in the newly adapted caste list of BC's pertaining to the state of Telangana as per G.O.Ms.No.16, BCW(OP) Dept, dt.11.03.2015. For Fresh and Renewals the students of 2014-15 only based on caste certificates issued in 2013-14 and 2014-15 until the completion of the course.
However, he informed that this facility shall not be permitted for fresh BC students from the academic year 2015-16 as per Government orders in G.O.Ms.No.16, BCW(OP) Dept., dt.11.03.2015.
