Distribution of Ramzan kits from Tuesday Hyderabad, July 13 (INN): The Telangana Government would begin distribution of Ramzan kits to the incharges of 195 mosques across the State from Tuesday evening.
Each mosque would handed over 1,000 kits containing clothes to be distributed among 1.95 poor families. The mosque committees have been asked to make proper arrangements for the distribution of kits from Wednesday onwards. The entire distribution is being monitored by a high-level committee, headed by ACB Director-General AK Khan.
AK Khan held a meeting on Monday evening at the Haj House and reviewed the arrangements. Minorities Welfare Department Director Mohammed Jalaluddin Akbar was also present in the meeting. Three different teams have been constituted for the task. The officials of Handloom and Textiles Department were also included to check the quality of clothes which are being distributed.
The tenders for distribution of clothes have been allotted to Gayathri Association, Pavan Silk Milks and Maqdoom Brothers.
The officials have been warned of stern action if they err in distribution of clothes among poor Muslims.
