Sandra bail puts End for 'Cash for Vote' scam Telangana TDP MLA Sandra Venkata Veeraiah, who was arrested by ACB in the' cash-for-vote case, was'today'granted conditional bail by a local court. A special ACB court granted him bail and directed him to furnish two sureties of Rs 2 lakh each. The court alsdo asked him to confine himself to Sattupally constituency which he represents
Veeraiah is the fifth accused in cash for vote scam and he was arrested by Telangana Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB), on July 6 after a' day-long questioning . He was questioned by the sleuths of ACB seeking information on the case and co-conspirators. It may be recalled that the ACB have arrested him on July 6 after 7 hours interrogation.
Its known that Revanth Reddy the main accused in the case, and two others were arrested on'May 31, 2015'and they were granted bail by the court earlier.A Revanth Reddy and two others were arrested on'May 31, 2015'for allegedly seeking to bribe Elvis Stephenson, Nominated MLA, to garner his support for TDP MLA Vem Narendar in MLC elections.
Sandra is likely to be released from Charlapalli Central jail any time after the jail officials receive the court orders for his bail. With all accused got released on bail many thought this will be the end for the murky scam which shook the telugu states.
