Agri-Horticultural Society honours Nawab Shah Hyderabad, July 14 (INN): The Agri ' Horticultural society, Public Garden, honoured Nawab Shah Alam Khan, first Chairman of the Society, in recognition of his yeoman services in the field of Agri and Horticulture here on Tuesday.
For more than five decades, Nawab Shah Alam Khan has nurtured his enduring passion for gardening and this made him on internationally renewed figure in this field. He has served as President of Rose Society of India for a very long time and promoted introduction of several erotic varieties of and roses in India.
M.Narayan Rao, Dr. Syed Ismail Vice Chairman, Hamid Ali Treasurer and Sri Vijaykanth, life member of Agri- Horticultural society have personally visited and presented shawl, a Memento, Certificate and citation on this occasion.
He recollected his days with the long association of the Society and advised to carry on the same momentum in upholding the name of the society to serve the community in field of Agri and Horticulture and suggested to intensify the activities of the society.
