TDP asks Jupally to fix a different venue Hyderabad, July 15 (INN): Senior TDP leader Ravula Chandrashekar Reddy advised Industries Minister Jupally Krishna Rao to fix a different venue to conduct debate on development of Mahabubnagar district.
Speaking to media persons at NTR Trust Bhavan here on Wednesday, Ravula said that the permission of Speaker S Madhusudan Chary would be required to conduct any debate in Assembly premises. Therefore, he said that the minister should select a different venue and also avoid bringing rowdies along with him for the debate. He claimed that the previous TDP Government has taken several measures for the development of Mahabubnagar district. He claimed that Rs. 300 crore were sanctioned fro the Jurala Project. Similarly, many other projects were initiated by the TDP Government which was later taken forward by the Congress Government. However, the TRS Government was reluctant in releasing about Rs. 1,000 crore to complete four pending irrigation projects of the district.
Ravula said entire data related to the sanction and release of funds for different project was available online and the minister himself should cross-check the statistics before levelling baseless allegations against the TDP.
