TRS MPs call on Governor over HC bifurcation Hyderabad, July 16 (INN): The TRS MPs called on Governor ESL Narasimhan at Raj Bhavan here on Thursday seeking his intervention for early bifurcation of High Court.
The TRS MPs, including K Keshava Rao, K Kavitha, Jithender Reddy, B Narsaiah Goud, B Vinod Kumar and Visweshear Reddy, urged the Governor to ask Centre to hasten the process oof division of High Court. They threatened that they would stall the proceedings of winter session of Parliament. They said that it was against the spirit of the constitution and Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Act that even after one year after bifurcation, no steps were taken to divide the High Court. They also complained that Andhra Pradesh Government too was responsible for delaying the High Court's division.
The TRS MPs said asked Union Law Minister Sadananda Gowd and AP Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu to speak out their stand on the issue.
