Facilities at Pushakaralu ghats faulty: VHR Hyderabad, July 19 (INN): Congress MP V Hanumantha Rao has demanded that the Telangana and Andhra Pradesh Governments take corrective steps to provide better facilities to the pilgrims visiting Godavari Pushkaralu ghats.
Addressing a press conference here on Sunday, VHR said although both the State Governments have spent hundreds of crores of rupees on publicity while making claims that they were would be providing the best facilities, both failed in delivery. He said there were no proper arrangements at most of the Ghats. Citing his own example, he said it would nearly eight-and-a-half hour for him to reach the ghat despite being in VIP category.
Stating that only five days were for the end of festivals, VHR demanded both the governments to rectify all the mistakes and provide best facilities at pushkar ghats.
