Husband threatens TDP MLA; arrested
Vizag police have arrested Shiva Prasad, Husband of TDP Payakarao Pet MLA Anitha. Shiva Prasad was arrested based on complaint filed by the MLA.The Visakhapatnam three town police took him into custody and presented him before court, and he was sent to two weeks remand.
Kavita recently filed complaint on Shiva Prasad alleging the torture from her husband with whom she has been living separately.'She said 'I have been silently facing his harassment for the last 14 years. I can't bear it any further. I am not interested to live with him. We have decided to take divorce. He was trespassed into my house and tried to kidnap my son and stole some important documents.''
Kavita further alleged that her husband assaulted PA and security guards who tried to stop him from entering into house. Kavita married Shiva Prasad few years back against her parents wish.
