KCR failed to deliver on promises: Congress Hyderabad, Aug 5 (INN): The Telangana Congress has accused Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao of having failed to fulfill any of the promises that he made with the people in the State.
Addressing a press conference at Gandhi Bhavan here on Wednesday, Deputy CLP leader T Jeevan Reddy and former MP Ponnam Prabhakar said that exactly a year ago, KCR visited Karimnagar for the first time as the Chief Minister of Telangana. In a span of four hours, he made at least 40 promises with the people of Karimnagar. In the last one year, he failed to fulfill even four out of 40 promises, they alleged.
Ponnam said KCR was on a spree of making new promises with the people of Hyderabad in view of GHMC elections. He asked the people to be cautious with KCR as he has become habitual of making false promises to get votes. He asked the Chief Minister to explain the status of implementation of the promises that he made so far.
