Dy CM launches Stamps & Registration Dept Portal Hyderabad, Aug 6 (INN): Deputy Chief Minister Mohammad Mahmood Ali launched the new user friendly version of the web portal of Stamps and registration department ' http://registration.telangana.gov.in/, which can accessed both in Telugu and Urdu apart from English language, at State Secretariat today.
On this occasion V.K.Agarwal, Principal Secretary Stamps and Registration, Ahemed Nadeem, Inspector General, Stamps and Registration, Telangana State, P.V.S.Reddy, Postmaster General, AP/Telangana Circle and Rama Rao, State Program Officer, NIC were also present.
Addressing the media persons, the Deputy CM said that the Telangana Government has launched a number of innovative initiatives addressed at making services user friendly and transparent. With the launch of newer version of the website it will become easy for public to register their lands, property, by entering data required for registration of document sitting at their homes before going to their respective registrar offices, he said.
Instead of waiting for hours at the offices, they can book their slot for registration and come at their convenience. SMS alerts on status of registration will be auto-generated and sent to parties' mobile numbers, ensuring accurate information reducing the dependency on middlemen or touts.
On a pilot basis we are introducing shift system in two sub registrar offices ' from 8.00 am to 2.30 pm at Bowenpalli and from 2.30 to 9.00 pm at Marredpalli SROs, based on the feedback this will be implemented in further offices later, he said
