Pawan expressed grief on Koti's death Muni Koti, the man who set himself on fire demanding special status to AP, succumbed to injuries on Sunday afternoon. Power star Pawan Kalyan responded on death of Muni Koti and said he was deeply saddened with the death of koti. Speaking about the tense situation across the state, Pawan said, 'I am restraining myself from speaking further on 'AP Spl Status' in a volatile situation like this which caused his Death.'
The 40-year-old Congress worker battled for life after attempting self-immolation at a public meeting held by congress party for its demand for Special Category Status to Andhra Pradesh,.Muni Koti doused himself with kerosene and set himself on fire a few minutes before the commencement of the meeting. Koti suffered 70 per cent burns after he doused himself with kerosene and lit himself. He was shifted to a hospital in Chennai where doctors declared him dead.
