Police arrests YS Jagan in Delhi YSRC Party chief Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy was arrested by Delhi police on Monday in the nation's capital. YS Jagan who launched day long protest was arrested by police while leading a march from Jantar Mantar to the Assembly demanding a special status for Andhra Pradesh.
Along with jagan police also took Botcha Satyanarayana, a senior party leader into custody. The leaders were arrested by delhi police on charges of disrupting the traffic and public order in the Capital. Police had to forcibly take the opposition leader into their van and' a clash broke out between the activists and police outside the area.
YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on Monday announced a state-wide bandh on August 28 in protest against the injustice meted out to the Andhra Pradesh by the Centre.
