AP CS reviews I-Day arrangements
Hyderabad, Aug 10 (INN): In connection with Independence Day celebrations, Andhra Pradesh Chief Secretary I.Y.R. Krishna Rao convened a meeting with officers on Monday to review on the arrangements and Tableaus with respects various Departments were finalized.
The Chief Secretary told in the meeting that the Independence Day celebrations will be organized by the Government of Andhra Pradesh in a historic manner, first time in Visakhapatnam. In addition to this cultural programmes would also be conducted by Information and Public Relations Department, Cultural Department. Students of various educational institutions will perform colourful activities in the function.
Krishna Rao issued instructions to the concerned to ensure drinking water, power supply and sanitation around the venue, ambulances with medical facility, public address system, transport, seating arrangements, refreshments and other security arrangements at the venue for the Flag Festival.
All the officers concerned should cooperate and to pursue the arrangements to success the Flag Festival in a big way, the Chief Secretary opined.
The meeting was attended by the Advisor Communications Dr. Parakala Prabhakar, Secretary GAD M.K. Meena, Commissioner I&PR Department N.V. Ramana Reddy and other officers.
