200 Rs fine for Sania Mirza
Hyderabad Tennis star Sania Mirza was on Monday fined for violation of traffic rules. Hyderabad police on Monday night imposed a fine of Rs.200 as the number plate of her car was found to be in violation of the rules.'
Police officials who found Sania SUV in Jubliee hills area' said the number plate was not as per the format prescribed by the traffic police and hence a challan was issued.
"We have issued an e-challan with fine of Rs 200 to Sania Mirza, the owner of the SUV, for the violation. The challan was issued last night after we found the SUV with improper display of number plate. The number palte was written in fancy way which is against traffic rules." Jubilee Hills Traffic Police Station Inspector Srinivas Reddy said.
Sania was appointed as Brand ambassador of Telangana last year.
