CID issued notices hours after the Telangana ACB served notice to driver of Nara Lokesh, son of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu.
A high drama was happened when AP CID initially reached Telangana CM KCR's camp office to serve notices to KTR's gunman, driver. The CID officials first went to the camp office of Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao at Begumpet to serve the notices. After denial of permission for AP CID into Telangana CM camp office by Telangana police, AP CID returned without serving notices.
Police later drove to Tarakarama Rao's house in Banjara Hills. Both the driver and gunman were not found at the minister's house. The officials made a visit to the office of Telangana intelligence wing to serve the notices. AP CID later went to KCR's old house in Nandini Nagar to serve notices on KTR's driver Satyanarayana.
CID issued notices to Satyanarayana and Janaki Ram, driver and gunman respectively of KTR for allegedly threatening accused Jerusalem Muthaiah to name Chandrababu Naidu as an accused in the case. The CID has asked the duo to appear before it for questioning on Aug 14 in Vijayawada.
The CID issued notices on the basis of a statement given by Muthaiah. In his complaint Mattaiah had stated to Satyanrayana Puram police that he was threatened of dire consequences if he fails to name AP CM Chandrababu Naidu in sensational cash-for-vote case.
