AP CM extends Independence Day wishes Hyderabad, Aug 14 (INN): On the eve of the 69th Independence Day of India, Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu extended wishes to the citizens of the country.
Stating that the new state of Andhra Pradesh will be celebrating this Independence Day on Beach Road in Visakhapatnam, the Chief Minister said that this is probably the first time in Independent India that Indian flag will be hoisted on the sea shores in the country. 'This day is a reminder of the rich inheritance of justice, liberty, prosperity, and independence bequeathed by each and every person who fought for a free India. My warm wishes to you on the 69th Independence Day,' he said.
Explaining his vision for Andhra Pradesh, the Chief Minister said, 'I aim to eliminate poverty, reduce economic and social disparities, leading to a healthy, technologically advanced, knowledge-driven happy and a prosperous society.'
