KCR, Naidu skips Governor's programme Hyderabad, Aug 15 (INN): Both the Chief Ministers, K Chandrashekar Rao (Telangana) and N Chandrababu Naidu (Andhra Pradesh), have skipped the customary "At Home" programme hosted by Governor ESL Narasimhan at Raj Bhavan here on Saturday evening on the occasion of country's 69th Independence Day.
Speaking to media persons, the Governor informed that both the Chief Ministers did not attend the programme. However, he said there was no specific reason for their absence.
The programme was attended by Deputy Chief Minister Mohammed Mahmood Ali, Union Ministers Bandaru Dattatraya and YS Chowdhary, ministers and legislators of both the States, Leader of Opposition K Jana Reddy, TPCC President N Uttam Kumar and other dignitaries.
