Politician wife gets 65 stitches after pet dog bites her
Maharashtra Navnirman Sena chief Raj Thackeray's wife Sharmila' got seriously injured in a dog bite. According to reports, the bite was so severe and it necessitated plastic surgery for the politician's wife.' Sharmila had to undergo a surgery and is now recovering in Mumbai's Hinduja hospital.
Doctors in the hospital said the bite was so severe that the dog's teeth dug almost reached her bones. Sharmila underwent plastic surgery and had 65 stitches on her cheeks. She was under the care of plastic surgeon Anil Tibrewala.
The incident occurred on Tuesday when one of their pet dog' Bond bit Sharmila sharply on the face at their house when Raj was addressing the media. The dog was of great dane breed.'Sharmila, a home-maker, is the daughter of Marathi theatre and film actor-producer Mohan Wagh.
