Revanth Reddy arrested again
TDP firebrand leader and Kodangal MLA Revanth Reddy got arrested yet again. This arrest was not related to cash for vote scam. The TDP MLA got arrested in Mahabubnagar for protesting against the violation of protocol.
Revanth Reddy along with his supporters staged Dharna for not inviting him to the' opening ceremony of the market yard godown. Police stopped Revanth and enraged at police interception TDP activists hurled stones at police vehicles.
Initially, police arrested Revanth Reddy's followers for raising slogans. Even, they lathi-charged some party workers. When Revanth objected, police took the MLA into custody and shifted him to the police station.
With some moments of tension at the market yard the cops arrested Revanth Reddy and also TDP activists. Police alleged that Revanth followers tried to obstruct minister Jupally Krishna Rao from attending the opening ceremony
The MLA was taken to Doulathabad police station. When TRS party leader and KCR government minister Jupally Krishna Rao was invited, why he despite being an MLA from the constituency, was not invited? He reportedly stated during the protest.
