KTR participates in 'Grama Jyothi' Hyderabad, Aug 21 (INN): Telangana Minister K Tarakarama Rao and Jagadish Reddy participated in 'Grama Jyothi' programme at different places in Nalgonda district on Friday.
The Panchayat Raj Minister took part in the programme Malvalapalli village of Chintapalli mandal. Speaking on the occasion, KTR said that the programme was aimed at providing basic amenities in all the villages so as to improve the living standards of rural population. He advised all the villagers to construct toilets at their house. He asked the local youth to become active in ensuring proper roads, drinking water and sanitation in their villages. He said dump yards would be constructed in all the villages.
KTR said that the local villagers would be included in different committees being formed for the implement of 'Grama Jyothi' programme.
Meanwhile, while participating in 'Grama Jyothi' programme at Bowenpally, Jagadish Reddy urged women to take an active part in development of their villages. He asked them to emulate Gangadevipally of Warangal to achieve growth and development.
