TPCC releases DVDs of Rahul's select speeches

Hyderabad, Aug 31 (INN): The Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) on Monday released the DVDs of extracts of selective speeches of AICC Vice-President Rahul Gandhi.

The speeches have been compiled by Leader of Opposition in Legislative Council Mohammed Ali Shabbir. These speeches were delivered by Rahul Gandhi in Parliament and other places, including public meetings. The 32-minute DVD contains Rahul Gandhi's most popular remarks against Narendra Modi Government which he described as "Suit Buit Ki Sarkar". It also contains the full speech delivered in Lok Sabha on Land Acquisition Bill and on Lalit Modi issue. It also has the extracts of a speech made on RSS and its plans to saffronise India.

Senior Congress leaders including TPCC President N. Uttam Kumar Reddy, Working President Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, Leader of Opposition K. Jana Reddy, Danam Nagender, Nandi Yellaiah, KR Suresh Reddy, Balram Naik, K. Sunitha Laxma Reddy, Geetha Reddy, DK Aruna, Akula Lalitha, Ponguleti Sudhakar Reddy and others watched the compilation at Gandhi Bhavan on Monday. Later, the DVDs were formally released. Speaking on the occasion, Uttam Kumar Reddy asked DCC Presidents and other leaders to spread the compilation in their circles and among public. He said Rahul Gandhi's latest speeches were highly inspiring wherein he exposed the wrong policies of the BJP-led NDA Government at the Centre.

Shabbir Ali said that the extracts of a few select speeches have been compiled in the DVD for ready reference. He said Rahul Gandhi's speeches clearly define Congress party's policies on farmers, Land Acquisition Bill, black money and other issues. He said it was Rahul Gandhi's fear that forced Prime Minister Narendra Modi to allow Land Acquisition Ordinance to lapse today. He said the credit of stopping the anti-farmer Land Acquisition Bill goes to the AICC Vice-President who proved that a firm resolve and not numbers were important to obstruct wrong policies of the government.

He informed that the videos would be available on the websites of TPCC and his personal website www.shabbirali.in and also on social media networks, including his FB Page http://www.facebook.com/mohdalishabbir. He appealed to the Congress cadre, followers and sympathisers to spread it using all social media platforms.
