KCR leaves for 10-day China tour Hyderabad, Sept 7 (INN): Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao on Monday left for 10-day tour to China and Hong Kong to participate in World Economic Forum at Dalian.
KCR, along with a 16-member delegation, took a special flight from Rajiv Gandhi International Airport at Shamshabad at 10 AM on Monday. He will participate in the World Economic Forum conference titled "New Championship 2015" from 9th to 11th September.
Before his departure, senior minister and officials called on the Chief Minisiter at his camp office. They included Deputy Chief Ministers Kadiyam Srihari and Mohamed Mahmood Ali, ministers Kadiyam Srihari, Pocharam Srinivas Reddy, K. Harish Rao, Eatala Rajender, Lakshma Reddy, Tummala Nageshwara Rao, Talasani Srinivas Yadav, Mahender Reddy, Indira Karan Reddy and Jogu Ramanna, Deputy Speaker Padma Devender Reddy, Chief Secretary Dr. Rajiv Sharma, DGP Anurag Sharma and others.
The CM will interact with some of the leading industrialists and explore the possibility of attracting investments into the state, a senior state government official said.
Assembly speaker S Madhusudhana Chary, Legislative Council Chairman Swamy Goud, Ministers Jupally Krishna Rao and Jagadish Reddy, Government Chief Whip Koppula Eshwar, Rajya Sabha MP K. Keshav Rao are part of the delegation.
During his visit, KCR will interact with industrialists seeking investment into Telangana State.
