Komatireddy questions Balaraju's China tour
Hyderabad, Sept 8 (INN): Congress MLA Komatireddy Venkatreddy has strongly criticised Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao for taking along TRS MLA Guvvala Balaraju on China and Hong Kong tour.
Speaking to media persons, Komatireddy alleged KCR's took Balaraju on China tour as a reward for attacking Congress MLA Rammohan Reddy. He said that the Chief Minister should give an explanation on why Balaraju was made a part of the delegation. Similarly, he questioned the inclusion of Assembly Speaker S. Madhusudan Chary and Council Chairman Swamy Goud in the Chief Minister's delegation to China.
Komatireddy alleged that by taking Balaraju to China, KCR is directly encouraging other MLAs to indulge in attacks on Congress leaders. He said instead of wasting money on foreign tour, KCR should have distributed the amount among the families of farmers who committed suicide by increasing the compensation amount to Rs. 5 lakh.
