Anil Kumar elected TSYC president
Hyderabad, Sept 12 (INN): Anil Kumar Yadav, son of former MP Anjan Kumar Yadav, has been elected the president of Telangana State Youth Congress here on Saturday.
Anil secured 4,379 votes against his rival Ravi Kumar Yadav, son of former MLA Bhikshapati Yadav, who got 2,523 votes. He won the elections with a majority of 1857 votes.
Speaking on the occasion, Anil Kumar Yadav said that he would strive hard to strengthen the Congress party at the grass root level. He said AICC Vice-President Rahul Gandhi would be invited to visit all 10 districts of Telangana where the Youth Congress would organise different programmes. He said that the Youth Congress would create awareness among the people over the failures of TRS Government.
