Komatireddy's Foundation to help to farmers' families
Hyderabad, Sept 14 (INN): Congress MLA Komatireddy Venkatreddy on Monday announced that the Pratik Reddy Foundation, the NGO named after his deceased son, will provide financial assistance to the families of farmers who committed suicide.
Speaking to media persons at Congress Legislature Party office here, Komatireddy said that the Foundation would give Rs. 50,000 each to 10 families in all 10 districts of Telangana State. Stating that no politics was involved in helping the families of deceased farmers, he asked Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao and other TRS leaders to rise above politics on this issue. He said that the Foundation was helping the farmers at personal level to convey a message that everyone should help the farmers who are in distress.
