Two pilgrims from Macchlipatnam buried in Makkah Hyderabad, Sept 15 (INN): Two Haj pilgrims belonging to Macchlipatnam of Krishna district of Andhra Pradesh, Abdul Qader and his wife Fatima Begum, were buried last night in the graveyard of Makkah. Earlier their Namaz-e-Janaza was performed after Eisha prayers in Haram-e-Makkah.
Meanwhile, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu expressed his deep sorrow over the incident and announced Rs. 3 lakh ex-gratia each to the kith and kin of the deceased. He sent a copy of the orders to Prof. S. A. Shukoor, Special Officer Telangana State Haj Committee.
Prof. Shukoor said that one Abdul Qader is being sent to Makkah to accompany the two ladies in the cover of the deceased person. Meanwhile, son of the deceased Shaik Ahmed Ali of Bodhan, Nizamabad district. Shaik Iftekhar Ali is being sent to Makkah to accompany his mother. His passport was got issued within three hours, said Prof. Shukoor.
