TS Govt to fill 1422 Asst Engineers post
Hyderabad, Sept 21 (INN): Energy Minister Jagadish Reddy on Monday announced that the notification to fill 1422 vacancies of Assistant Engineers in Energy Department would be issued soon.
Speaking to media persons here, Jagadish Reddy said that the energy department has been facing shortage of staff since the formation of Telangana and therefore, it has been decided to fill the vacancies. He said that the Electrical, Civil and Mechanical Engineers' would be recruited for Telangana TRANSCO, GENCO, TSSPDCL and TSNPDCL. As many as 206 engineers will be recruited in TRANSCO which includes 184 posts of Electrical and 22 Civil Engineers. Likewise, of 856 posts in GENCO, 419 will be Electrical, 172 Civil, 70 Electronics and 195 Mechanical engineers. In addition, 201 Electrical engineers in TSSPDCL and 159 in TSNPDCL will be recruited.
The written exams for recruitments in TSNPDCL will be held on November 8, GENCO's on November 14, TSSPDCL on November 22 and TRANSCO's written exam will be held on November 29. He said different dates have been kept for written exams so as to enable candidates to apply for all four departments.
Jagadish Reddy claimed that the entire recruitment process was being conducted in a completely transparent manner. He advised candidates not to get misled by fraudsters and call on 9332983914 to lodge their complaints.
The minister said that the recruitment process would be completed by December end and the new staff would join their duties from January 1, 2016.
