RPF personnel rescue two boys Hyderabad, Sept 22 (INN): Two young boys, left behind by their parents at Secunderabad Railway station who did not return to pick them up, were rescued by the Railway Protection Force (RPF) personnel.
The two boys, Veesam Teja and Veesam Bhargav sons of Veesam Gouri Shanker residing at Rampally Chowrasta, ECIL, Hyderabad were wandering on Platform No.1 of Secunderabad railway station, when they were noticed by the RPF personnel on rounds, who checked on their identity, took custody of the kids and later handed them over to the Child Help Desk, Secunderabad for protection and subsequent action to unite with their kin on September 20.
In yet another incident, the RPF personnel of Crime Prevention and Detection Squad of Secunderabad Division, South Central Railway apprehended a peddler in Konark Express who was carrying 10 kgs of Ganja in his possession. The accused along with the material he was carrying was handed over to the Govt. Railway Police for further action.
