Permission denied for Jagan's indefinite fast Authorities in Guntur have denied permission to YS Jagan Mohan Reddy to hold an indefinite fast on special status. Few days back the opposition leader has announced he would undertake an indefinite Deeksha from September 26 at Guntur on the issue of special status.
As the date is nearing the leader has approached the authorities of Guntur and they have denied the permission to hold an indefinite Deeksha. The authorities said the permission was being denied as there were several schools and hospitals near the venue. They also said the immersion of the Ganesha idols would also be affected by the fast.
YSRC party MLA'S Chand Basha and Vishweshwar Reddy said the government was mortally afraid of YS Jagan and is doing everything under its command to thwart the Deeksha.
Meanwhile Upping the ante against the TDP Government ,YS Jagan, President of YSRCP has stated that his party would fight till special category status is granted to Andhra Pradesh.
