Kishan Reddy denies being in race for T-BJP chief post Hyderabad, Sept 23 (INN): Telangana State BJP President G Kishan Reddy on Wednesday made it clear that he was not a contender for the post of State Unit president.
Kishan Reddy, who had served as the President of both united AP and Telangana unit president, said he wanted to focus on strengthening the party across the State. Therefore, he was not keen on accepting any new responsibility at the national level. He said that the decision on new president of Telangana BJP would be taken soon.
Speaking to media persons on the sidelines of Assembly's monsoon session, Kishan Reddy expressed pain over the rising number of suicides by farmers. He said that the BJP would participate in the discussion in Assembly and would suggest measures to prevent further suicides.
