Court setback for Jagan's 'Deeksha'; Postponed again YSRCP Chief YS Jagan faced a major setback and he postponed his planned in-definite hunger strike. Few days back Guntur police had refused permission for Jagan's fast at the Wolf Hall grounds opposite AC College by stating that it would hinder traffic and could cause law and order problems.Jagan approached the high court by challenging the government and he filed Lunch motion petition in Hyderabad high court.
Today'the High Court has denied to examine his house motion petition and asked the party to approach regular court. With the High Court's order, the YSRCP has no option and temporarily postponed the deeksha which was earlier scheduled 26th September.
Post the Court's decision, Jagan held a discussion with senior party members and took a call to postpone the protest.Party senior leader Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy announced the postponement and said that new date will be announced soon. He said Jagan will take up deeksha by clearing all hurdles. This is second time that the Deeksha got postponed.
