Revanth alleges irregularities in rice distribution
Hyderabad, Oct 11 (INN): TDP senior leader and MLA A. Revanth Reddy has alleged that large scale irregularities were taking place in distribution of fine rice meant for hostels.
Speaking to media persons at NTR Trust Bhavan here on Sunday, Revanth Reddy alleged that sub-standard rice was being supplied to hostels and residential schools in place of fine rice which is being diverted to black market. He demanded that the Vigilance Department be directed to conduct raids to take rice samples from hostels.
Revanth Reddy questioned the silence of Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao on the irregularities.
