SFO Direct flight details to be announced on 15th
Milpitas, California: At a press conference organized by Indian Consulate and planned by Air India in Bay Area on 15th, Thursday, some of the details of the direct San Fransisco to India flight and inaugural fares are expected to be given, said K Venkata Ramana, Consul (CIC), Consulate General of India, San Francisco in a press release on Tuesday.
In a note sent out to the Media on Tuesday, Mr. Ramana said "May please refer to the announcement made by Hon'ble Indian Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, in his speech to the Indian Diaspora, on 27th September, 2015 at San Jose, that Air India would start its flights from San Francisco to India from Dec 02, 2015 onwards."
In this connection, a team of Air India officials are visiting San Francisco and they have requested this Consulate to arrange a meet the Press program on 15th October, 2015 (Thursday).
In view of the above, a Press Conference has been arranged at Indian Cultural Centre, Milpitas (Address: 525 Los Coches St., Milpitas, CA 95035, Phone: 408-934-1130) at 7:00 PM on 15th October, 2015.
A presentation of some of the details of the flight and inaugural fares are expected to be given in the press conference, Mr. Ramana said.
