CBN launched website 'My Brick My Amaravathi'
The Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu launched 'My Brick My Amaravati', an exclusive website where donors can purchase symbolic bricks that will cost Rs.10 each.
People from all over the world can now come forward to invest and contribute to the building of the state's capital city. The donors can directly login to the portal ( http://www.amaravati.gov.in ) and start contributing by buying bricks. Within seconds of its launch a Singapore NRI bought 108 bricks. Each brick costs about Rs 10 and any one can contribute any number of bricks for the Navyandhra Capital.
Several people started donations through the website. Prime Minister Narendra Modi would lay the foundation stone for Andhra Pradesh capital city of Amaravati on the auspicious day of 'Vijaya Dasami' on October 22.Who will not want to give their contribution to their land? This is a good initiative for a cash strapped state.
