SIB, CID cops to get special allowance
Hyderabad, Feb 5 (INN): Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao has made it clear that policemen working with Intelligence, Security and CID would be given a special allowance of 25%.
A team of senior police officials led by Intelligence chief Shivadhar Reddy called on the Chief Minister at his camp office on Friday and thanked him for granting Special Allowance. Speaking on the occasion, KCR said that it was the duty of State Government to take care of officials performing special duties. This decision will benefit 464 policemen working with Intelligence Department, 893 with Security and 646 with CID. They will get 25% Special Allowance on their basic salaries.
