Ration shops in AP to provide public services Hyderabad, Feb 29 (INN): Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu told the ration dealers that he aims to make ration shops in the state centres of public services.
In a meeting with the ration dealers in Vijayawada, the Chief Minister directed the dealers to ensure regular supply of commodities. He pointed out the state government is spending Rs 4,000 crore a year in addition to the union government funds towards civil supplies.
"I will have to face problems for your wrongdoings. We cannot expect positive results if there are gaps in the public distribution system. My government is responsible for the welfare of the dealers. However, I won't remain ignorant towards the irregularities committed," he said. He added that the e-PoS distribution system will soon be implemented nationwide.
Stating that the government accords first priority to the distribution of ration goods, he directed the dealers to rectify any technical errors pertaining to Aadhar number.
