SCR seeks public help to chronicle its history Hyderabad, March 9 (INN): The South Central Railway, formed on 2nd October, 1966 holds a rich past dating back to the Nizam's reign. With a view to comprehensively present the glorious history and heritage of the Zone, SCR is planning to publish a 'Coffee Table Book' focusing primarily on Photograph Visuals that convey the evolution of Railways in the region with emphasis on South Central Railway.
Towards this, the public in general and rail hobbyists/photography enthusiasts/history chroniclers in particular have been requested to share any collection of photographs in their possession pertaining to the dawn, development and progress of Railways in the region, which presently constitutes South Central Railway by 20th March. The same will be duly acknowledged.
