MMTS to be extended till Yadadri Hyderabad, March 13 (INN): Municipal Administration & Urban Development Minister K. Tarakarama Rao said that the MMTS train services would be extended up to Yadadri for convenience of devotees.
In his reply to a question raised by MLA Vemula Veerasham during Question Hour in Telangana Legislative Assembly on Sunday, the minister said that the Union Ministry of Railways has sanctioned Ghatkesar-Raigir (Yadadri) extension of MMTS Phase-II (32 KM) for a total cost of Rs. 330 Crore.
Out of the sanctioned cost of Rs. 330 crore, the Central Government will provide one-third, i.e., Rs. 110 crore.
