CII inks MoU with the TS Govt Hyderabad, March 16 (INN): Providing a major impetus to Government of Telangana's initiative in building a greener and healthier State, the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) on Wednesday inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the State Government to facilitate its path-breaking initiative of planting 25 Lakh saplings in one day.
IT Department Secretary Jayesh Ranjan and CII-Telangana Chairperson Vanitha Datla exchanged the MoU today at the CII Telangana's Annual Meeting.
Expressing delight over signing of the MoU, Vanitha Datla said that the mega plantation drive initiative would go a long way in increasing the green cover of the State and in the process increase the quality of the life of the people, she underlined.
CII Southern Region past chairman M Anil Kumar V Epur said that the unique initiative augurs well in instilling a sense of commitment towards Planet Earth. The CII would reach-out information about this initiative to the stakeholders of industry and building sector in Telangana, including its affiliated Associations and organisations, he informed.
